I have a secret.

I haven’t told you before because I was waiting to make sure that everything would be confirmed, but now that it is I can share it with the world!

In two days, from October 8-11, 2014 I’ll be attending the Travel Blogger Destination – Italy  conference as one of the TOP BLOGGERS in the Food & Wine cluster!

Not only that, I’ve also been invited on a post blog tour that will extend my trip by 2 days.

I cannot wait to start! It’s a chance for bloggers and various tour operators and tourist boards to meet and network with the hopes of creating new collaborations. On Friday, we’ll be having a Meet Your Blogger Day where exhibitors were given the chance to make one-on-one appointments with the bloggers of their choosing and my calendar is 95% full!

I’m so honored to have been chosen for this opportunity to represent the Food & Wine cluster here in Italy. If you had told me this 7 years ago I would have scoffed! Not laughed outright because that would be rude, but there would definitely have been some scoffing.

What this means is that I will now be able to work directly with some of the best tour operators and tourism boards both in Italy (my focus) and internationally (who doesn’t want to travel?) and then pass on my learning to you.  If you’re like me, you like to do a little bit of research (often ending in paralysis by analysis) before going anywhere and planning is a MUST so I recommit to helping you plan your trips over here.

Whether it be short term vacation, that once in a lifetime dream holiday, a semester abroad, or a full on life change I am working hard to bring you the best tips and tricks you need to know along with a huge dose of encouragement and motivation.

If you haven’t checked me out on Pinterest you might think about heading over there and seeing what I’m up to. I’ve embedded my Rimini board here with some of the beautiful sites and delicious food that I hope to eat while I’m there this week.

While I’m there I’ll be posting on Facebook and Instagram, and taking copious amounts of notes to write all up afterwards for you. Better bring along an extra memory card for my camera too. 😉

Before I sign off though I wanted to say a HUGE thank you to – YOU! I wouldn’t have had the chance to accept this wonderful opportunity if it hadn’t been for all of you and your comments, emails, questions, suggestions, and feedback.
